THE FUN(D)RAISER 2020
The
evening of 5th March, was indeed a special one for the members of
Team Plasma. We couldn’t have asked for a happier ending to our CIAs. Yes, it
was this year’s fundraiser, and Plasma joint hands with Team Exnora, to conduct
the noble event this year. Right from selling tickets, to arranging venues and
organizing the performances, the members of the team started active work weeks
before the big day.
With
the venue fully packed, the events started off at 5:30 pm with a graceful performance
by Lasyalahari, which was followed by an informative koothu. The mime by team
Thana Sendha Koottam was very well executed and made very clear, the importance
of donating blood and the fact that only good comes back to people who do good.
Another power packed performance was
given by team Minion monsters and the face off they had with Lasyalahari
totally pumped up the energy of the audience. And as an unexpected surprise,
came the power cut! The entire crowd was enthralled and the stadium was beautifully
lit by flash lights like stars of the night sky, and set up an amazing ambience
for Mr. Monsters to rock the stage. Members from both the teams, Plasma and Exnora,
also spoke about the work their teams do and their achievements so far. This,
hopefully would have motivated people from the audience to join the teams and
work for good social causes.
Team
Plasma also honored few donors by giving them certificates.
End
of the day, it was an overwhelmingly satisfactory evening for Team Plasma and
we will cherish this day in our memories forever.
